The End of the Road

Wow. This is it. I am turning in my project next week and could not be more thrilled. I have to be honest. When I first heard about this assignment, I was not happy. It seemed like it would be extremely difficult and time consuming, which it was, but now I see that all of it was for a reason. The blogs were the main reason for my staying on track. Since they did not allow any room for procrastination, I never forgot about this project and worked on it constantly.     I am eternally grateful for everyone that has helped me on my film. To my entire family in Argentina for getting me the supplies I needed and allowing me to use their home. To my friends who took the time to listen to my endless speeches and talks about this project (I think I drove a couple of them crazy). To my brother for automatically saying yes to being in my film when I was unable to get the original actor. To my teacher for making sure I stayed on track with my project. Group Feedback #2

Today was the second group feedback session in class! As I previously mentioned, the first feedback helped me immensely and even gave me the main portion of my opening. However, most projects are almost completed since they are due in about a week. However, I was able to show some clips and photographs I had on my cell phone.     I began with my blogs. I shared a couple of posts with the group and was thrilled with the responses. I have put a ton of work on this project and they truly believed that my blogs portrayed that. They said that t

Huge Change

Something has happened that will and has modified my project immensely. About two weeks into the project, I was notified that my partner was suspended from my school. I tried countless times to contact him, but the call kept going straight to voicemail. Calling, texting, e-mailing, talking to his friends, etc. Nothing seemed to work and the worst part is, I didn’t have his address either. Finally about two weeks later, my teacher thankfully sent an e-mail to his parents explaining the situation and asking if he could call me. That same day afterschool, I received a call from an unknown number. The relief I had was insane. He explained to me what had happened, but I was leaving to Argentina for the duration of Spring Break the day after, meaning nothing could be done at that point.     I continued my blogs and research on my own, making sure the absence of my partner did not affect my project. I ended up filming in Argentina because the location was perfect and I did not know w
